Falnama Turkish Oracle Cards

$35.00

Mystical, magical and intriguing deck!

The name ‘Falnama’ is of a genre used in Turkish and Iranian literature and hails from the seventeenth century’s Islamic traditions.
Inspired by a book at Topkapı Palace Museum presented to Sultan I. Ahmed, the Falnama was used by oracles, miniaturized in vignette workshops, and written by Turkish and Persian poets of that era.

This deck uses 40 illustrated cards with traditional imagery (called “miniatures”) that are re-illustrated with contemporary perspectives.
The cards also have keywords as well as short stories written as poems in the guidebook which present modern interpretations, giving readers answers to their important questions, or “wishes,” in an easy-to-understand format.

Absolutely stunning oracle deck!
