About:Sacred Medicine Sisterhood dreams of a future where every woman has the inspiration, support, and resources to awaken her full potential and inner Wild Woman. Women and girls are the world’s greatest untapped resource, and we believe that empowering women is the fastest way possible to create global change. Wild Woman Weekend is one way that we aim to contribute to this change.
By creating a community of sisterhood, if only for a weekend, women that participate feel a sense of security and wholeness. They drop the baggage that they have been carrying and find the freedom to be authentically themselves. Sacred Sisterhood Community is something that a lot of us are missing in our everyday lives, and for 3 days it is found at the Wild Woman Weekend.
Every year we have workshops, ceremonies, yoga, henna, vendors, bellydancing, and other performers. We have a community fire both nights that is open to singing, drumming, dancing, and storytelling.
The weekend is a beautiful blend of structure and rest.
The majority of the flow is like this: You arrive on Friday and set up your campsite. We will have opening announcements, opening ceremony, a panel discussion by the presenters so you can get to know them, potluck dinner, talent show, then the performances by dancers, musicians, etc.
Saturday and Sunday is full of workshops and ceremonies, with time to visit the vendors, get henna, readings etc. We share lunch and dinner potluck style. You are welcome to join in any of the workshops and ceremonies, or visit the meditation pond; it’s all up to you.
In the evenings we gather around the fire and share stories, songs, drum, etc…
Tickets are $75 this year. That includes entrance for the entire weekend of classes, ceremonies, performances etc. as well as camping.
